1. Scope and specific agreements
This is the general refund policy for The Sterile Process. A signed enrollment agreement, service agreement, written offer, or legally required cancellation notice may contain terms specific to an offering. The more specific terms control when they differ from this general policy, subject to applicable law.
2. Application fees
Application fees are nonrefundable because they compensate The Sterile Process for application review and enrollment administration. An application fee is credited toward tuition only as stated in the applicable offer, applies only to that enrollment period, and is nontransferable. Paying an application fee does not guarantee acceptance or enrollment.
3. Training-program tuition and payment plans
Refunds, withdrawals, cancellations, payment obligations, and access for instructor-led, hybrid, or independent-study programs are governed by the student's enrollment agreement and required notices. Students should review and retain those documents before signing or paying. Nothing on this page removes a cancellation or refund right that cannot lawfully be waived.
4. Digital products and recorded education
Digital products may include flashcards, recordings, bootcamps, downloads, templates, independent-study materials, and fixed-term platform access. Except where required by law or expressly stated in the offer, these purchases become nonrefundable after access, delivery, download, substantial use, or reproduction begins. A duplicate charge or confirmed inability to deliver the purchased product will be reviewed.
5. Resume and career services
Resume optimization, rush processing, and related personalized services reserve professional time and begin from information supplied by the purchaser. A cancellation request made before work begins may be reviewed. Once research, writing, editing, consultation, or production begins, the service fee is nonrefundable except where required by law or where The Sterile Process cannot deliver the agreed service. Rush fees are nonrefundable once rush work has been scheduled or started. No service guarantees interviews, employment, wages, or employer selection.
6. Quiz Studio 90-Day Pass
A request submitted within seven calendar days of purchase may be reviewed if the purchaser has not submitted a premium quiz, substantially used the question library, shared the account, or violated the Terms of Use. Approval is not automatic. After seven days, the pass is nonrefundable except where required by law or where we confirm a material service failure that we cannot reasonably correct.
7. Quiz Studio monthly access
Monthly charges pay for the billing period that begins on the charge date. Canceling stops future renewals but does not ordinarily refund or prorate the current billing period. Renewal charges are nonrefundable except where required by law, duplicated in error, unauthorized, or caused by a verified billing error.
8. Eligible billing corrections
- Duplicate charges.
- A charge made after a timely cancellation because of a confirmed system or processing error.
- Unauthorized transactions, subject to reasonable verification.
- A material failure that prevented delivery of the purchased service and could not be corrected within a reasonable period.
9. How to request a review
Email admin@thesterileprocess.com with the purchaser or account email, purchase date, offering, charge amount, and reason for the request. Do not send complete card numbers or passwords. Requests are reviewed against delivery, access or work performed, payment records, signed agreements, support history, and this policy. Approved refunds are returned to the original payment method. Bank processing times are outside our control.
10. Payment disputes
Contact us first so we can investigate and document the issue. A payment dispute or chargeback may result in temporary suspension of access or services while the payment status is reviewed. This does not limit any rights available under applicable law or card-network rules.
