Privacy Policy

This policy explains what The Sterile Process collects across its websites, applications, programs, products, services, and Quiz Studio.

1. Information we collect

  • Identity and contact information such as name, email, phone number, mailing address, and emergency or guardian contact when relevant.
  • Application and enrollment information such as education history, eligibility documents, identification, signed agreements, program selections, attendance, assignments, progress, certification status, and support needs.
  • Account information such as email address, user ID, password-reset and authentication records.
  • Purchase and subscription information such as product or service, plan type, payment status, Stripe customer identifiers, billing dates, and transaction records. We do not receive or store complete payment-card numbers.
  • Service information you provide for resume optimization, career support, externship assistance, or other requested services, including employment history and professional documents.
  • Learning activity such as quiz selections, scores, attempts, saved progress, course participation, and timestamps.
  • Technical and security information such as IP address, browser type, device information, logs, and suspected misuse when generated by our systems or service providers.
  • Messages and information submitted when requesting support, cancellation, refunds, account assistance, or educational review.

2. How we use information

  • Review applications, administer enrollment, deliver programs and services, and communicate requirements.
  • Create and secure accounts.
  • Process purchases, activate access, administer payment plans, renew subscriptions, and manage cancellations or refunds.
  • Deliver educational materials, track progress, calculate scores, document participation, and provide student or career support.
  • Prepare or revise resumes and other requested career-readiness materials.
  • Ship textbooks, kits, or other physical materials when included.
  • Provide support and send transactional, program, scheduling, and service messages.
  • Detect fraud, account sharing, security threats, and violations of business rules.
  • Maintain, troubleshoot, improve, and measure our offerings.
  • Comply with legal, tax, accounting, certification-support, contractual, and recordkeeping obligations.

3. How information is disclosed

We disclose information only as reasonably necessary to operate the service, process payments, host data, deliver email, provide customer support, protect rights and safety, complete a business transaction, or comply with law. Service providers may include payment processors, authentication and database providers, hosting providers, and email-delivery providers. They receive only the information needed to perform their services under their own terms and privacy practices.

  • We do not sell personal information.
  • We do not use personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising.
  • We do not disclose complete payment-card numbers because payments are processed by Stripe.

4. Cookies and local storage

Quiz Studio may use essential browser storage, cookies, and similar technologies to keep users signed in, preserve secure sessions, remember necessary preferences, and protect the service. Blocking essential technologies may prevent account features from working.

5. Retention

We retain information for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the service, maintain educational and transaction records, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, prevent abuse, and meet legal or accounting obligations. Retention periods vary by record type. Information may be deleted or deidentified when no longer needed.

6. Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect information. No online service or storage system can guarantee absolute security. Users are responsible for protecting their passwords and devices.

7. Your choices and privacy requests

You may request access, correction, or deletion of eligible personal information by emailing admin@thesterileprocess.com. You may also ask questions about retention or service providers. We may verify your identity before completing a request. Certain records may be retained when permitted or required for security, fraud prevention, transactions, legal compliance, or dispute resolution.

8. California privacy notice

California residents may have rights under applicable state privacy law, depending on whether the law applies to The Sterile Process and the request. These may include rights to know, access, correct, delete, limit certain uses, or opt out of certain disclosures. We will not discriminate against a user for exercising an applicable privacy right. 9. Children

Quiz Studio is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child submitted information, contact us so we can review and address it.

10. Changes and contact
