The Sterile Process is not affiliated with, sponsored by, approved by, or endorsed by HSPA or any other credentialing organization unless expressly stated in writing. CRCST and related names may be trademarks of their respective owners and are used only to identify the certification for which users may be preparing.
No guaranteed outcome
Use of Quiz Studio does not guarantee examination eligibility, a passing score, certification, completion of required hands-on hours, employment, an externship, promotion, wages, or job retention. Results depend on many factors outside our control, including the learner's preparation, experience, accuracy, and compliance with current certification requirements.
Current requirements and professional judgment
Users must verify current CRCST eligibility, examination, renewal, and hands-on experience requirements with the credentialing organization. Educational content is not a substitute for a device manufacturer's instructions for use, employer policies, current standards, laws, regulations, clinical judgment, or direction from qualified leadership.

Sterile processing guidance and certification outlines may change. We may revise questions or rationales when we identify an error, ambiguity, outdated reference, or better terminology.
